Dual Carbon Goals | IKATE Valves Open Up a New Green Track

Release Time :09/04/2026

Driven by the “dual carbon” goals, the valve industry is undergoing a profound green transformation. In the second half of 2025, the scale of China’s green valve market reached 18.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52%, among which products such as low-leakage valves and special valves for photovoltaics recorded growth rates of over 80%.

Yikate Valve is a pioneer in this transformation. The zero-leakage butterfly valve we developed adopts an innovative triple-eccentric sealing structure, with leakage only 1/10 of the national standard, and can be widely used in waste gas treatment systems in industries such as chemical engineering and metallurgy. "A DN1000 zero-leakage butterfly valve can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 1200 cubic meters per year, equivalent to planting 600 trees, and can achieve zero-leakage operation even in extreme temperature environments from -40℃ to 180℃."

The triple-eccentric sealing structure used in the zero-leakage butterfly valve is its core technical highlight. The sealing pair of traditional butterfly valves is made of rubber material, which is prone to aging and failure under high-temperature and high-pressure environments, while this valve adopts a metal hard-seal structure. Through the three-dimensional eccentric design of the disc, valve seat, and valve body, frictionless contact of the sealing surfaces is achieved, making its service life more than 3 times that of traditional valves.

In addition to industrial waste gas treatment, this valve is also widely used in fields such as municipal wastewater treatment and natural gas transmission. Our products have already passed EU CE certification and U.S. API certification.
